Alternating teleworking

The TU Clausthal would like to offer their employees the reconciliation of work and family. A building block for this is the introduction of alternating telework.

Alternating teleworking means that workers provide their individual working hours partly at home (domestic place of employment) and partly in the office (business workplace). Teleworkers are supported by devices and equipment of decentralized information processing and communication technology. The home workplace is connected to the workplace online.

The target groups are employees from the administration, the faculty, and the central facilities that can put forward legitimate social or organizational grounds.

In November 2014, the final work agreement on telework was, following a positive evaluation of the pilot project, adopted.
